Thida — inheritance legal services

A Practice Built on Patience and Respect

Thida was founded with a simple belief: that families dealing with inheritance matters deserve calm, knowledgeable support — not confusion or pressure. We are here to make a complex process feel manageable.

How Thida Came to Be

Thida was established in Bangkok by a small team of legal professionals who had spent years working within larger firms, helping clients through inheritance disputes and estate settlements. Over time, it became clear that many families struggled not because the law was against them — but because the process felt opaque and rushed.

In 2018, Thida opened its doors in Ratchathewi with a different approach: one centred on listening, explaining, and moving at a pace that feels right for each family. Estate matters often arrive during grief. We believe the legal support around them should feel like a steady hand, not another source of strain.

Today, we work with families across Bangkok and throughout Thailand, handling consultations, document preparation, and full estate representation with the same quiet care that has always defined our practice.

Our Mission

To offer clear, considerate legal support for inheritance and estate matters — making the process as straightforward as possible for every family who comes to us.

Our Values

  • Patience — we never rush a family to decide
  • Clarity — plain language in every conversation
  • Discretion — your matter stays within our office
  • Honesty — transparent fees, no surprises

Where We Are

Our office is at 104 Thanon Ratchawithi, Ratchathewi, Bangkok — accessible by BTS and a short walk from Phaya Thai station. We welcome walk-ins during office hours and can arrange early or Saturday appointments on request.

The People Behind the Practice

A small team, chosen for their knowledge and their temperament — because how you help matters as much as what you know.

How We Work

The standards we hold ourselves to — in every matter, for every family.

Thai Law Compliance

All work is carried out in full accordance with the Civil and Commercial Code of Thailand and current estate regulations applicable in Bangkok.

Client Confidentiality

Family and financial details are kept strictly private. We maintain secure records and share nothing without explicit consent from our clients.

Document Accuracy

Every document prepared on a client's behalf is reviewed internally before submission. We do not rush paperwork, and we verify details at each stage.

Plain Communication

We commit to explaining each step in language that makes sense to you — no jargon, no assumption that you already understand the process.

Transparent Pricing

Fees are agreed before any work begins. There are no add-on costs or hidden charges — what we quote is what you pay.

Ongoing Liaison

We keep you informed throughout. You will know what has been submitted, what is pending, and what to expect next — without needing to chase us.

Inheritance Matters, Handled with Care in Bangkok

Inheritance law in Thailand sits within the Civil and Commercial Code, which sets out how an estate is distributed when someone passes — whether or not they left a written will. The process can involve courts, government offices, and correspondence with multiple parties. For families already managing grief, it can feel like a great deal to hold.

At Thida, we work alongside families at each stage of this process. Our team has handled straightforward consultations — where a family simply wants to understand what they are entitled to — and more complex matters involving disputed wills, multiple heirs, or property registered across different provinces. We approach each case without assumptions, taking time to understand the specific documents and relationships involved.

Our Ratchathewi office serves families across Bangkok and frequently assists clients with ties to other parts of Thailand. We are familiar with both the formal legal procedures and the quieter, more personal questions that arise when an estate is being settled — questions about fairness, about family, and about what the person who has passed would have wanted.

If you are unsure where to begin, or simply want to understand your position before deciding anything, a Guidance Consultation is a calm and unhurried first step. Many families find that a single conversation brings a great deal of clarity.
