The Situation
A family approached us after their father passed without a will. The three adult children had different views on how the estate should be divided, and none of them were familiar with the legal procedure for intestate succession in Thailand.
What We Did
We explained the statutory succession rules clearly to all three heirs together. We then prepared the required documentation, handled the district office registration, and liaised with the relevant financial institutions to close accounts and transfer assets.
The Outcome
The estate was settled within seven weeks. All three heirs received their share of the estate and confirmed they understood the process at each stage. A difficult situation was resolved calmly, with no legal dispute between family members.
